Communication Health Assessment

The Communication Health Assessment is the fastest way to find out whether internal communication has structural problems worth fixing. It goes further than the free Communication Health Check: 538 reviews real communication from your organization, looks at the feedback employees have already given, and sits down with leadership to walk through what it found.

Example: A CEO isn’t ready to commission a full diagnostic but wants to know whether internal communication has obvious structural problems.

Typically two to three weeks.

How it works
  1. 01

    Intake

A leadership intake conversation, then a review of 10–20 representative communications, the major channels and available employee feedback. A short pulse survey can be added.

  2. 02

    Assessment

A structured review of leadership communication, organizational priorities, the manager cascade, channel access, clarity, employee voice, feedback loops, communication friction and measurement.

  3. 03

    Debrief

A concise findings document and a leadership debrief focused on the five biggest opportunities, separated into quick wins and longer-term issues.

What you receive
  • Communication health snapshot
  • Five priority opportunities
  • Quick wins vs. longer-term issues matrix
  • Recommended next steps
  • A 60-minute leadership debrief

This is a structured, research-informed consulting assessment. It is not a validated psychometric instrument.
